 Lines Open

 24 hours.

By Telephone

This is the quickest way. Our lines above are manned all day and night every day, yes even Christmas and New Year, we remember what is was like. If you use the phone service you will be answered by a recovering alcoholic ( one that’s not drinking ) who will be able to talk with you about your problems. He/She will be able to advise you as to where and when your local meetings are taking place, and if you want will be able to arrange for someone to come ( completely discreetly ) and visit you at home or meet elsewhere.

By going to a meeting

You can find a full list of meetings in your local area either from our Local AA meetings page ( if you live in our area ) or from the National Listing. At your first meeting you will be made to feel welcome. We remember each and every one of us the first meeting that WE ever went to. You will be encouraged to listen to what is similar in the stories of other people that you hear, not what is different to your own. You will be reminded that ours is an anonymous fellowship. “Who you see here, What you hear here, When you leave here let it stay here” is one of our mottos. Don’t worry if you do meet someone you know. They are there for the same reason as you. They got fed up with drinking. We do not swear off drink for life, just for a day. One day at a time.

By E-mail

Drop us a line and we'll get back to you as soon as we can, usually within 24 hours. You will be answered by a recovering alcoholic ( one that’s not drinking ) He/She will be able to advise you as to where and when your local meetings are taking place, answer any questions you may have, and if you want will be able to arrange for someone to come ( completely discreetly ) and visit you at home or meet elsewhere.
